![]() Hello everyone! My name is Jared Ende and I'm a second year at UVA. I am currently majoring in History with plans to apply to the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy this coming Spring. I currently live in Williamsburg, Virginia, but I grew up on Long Island, so expect a bit of an accent and elitism when it comes to pizza and bagels. I will be a First-Year Engagement Intern for Hillel this year! I am very excited to be an engagement intern because of my own personal experiences. One of last year's interns invited me out on a coffee date to tell me more about Hillel, as I was hesitant to get involved at first. She told me all about how Hillel was not exclusively for very religious students, and that any Jewish student could feel welcome at Hillel. I started regularly going to Shabbat dinner, and from there I made some of my best friends at UVA! As for my other involvements at UVA, I have a few. I am a Resident Advisor in Metcalf, a moderator for Sustained Dialogue and PULSE (please ask me about either if you are interested!), and I am a brother in the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity. I am looking forward to meeting all of you! Comments are closed.
