Case StatementBuilding a Jewish community doesn’t only happen in formal spaces. A Jewish community comes from people and relationships.
The Capital Campaign to Make Our House a Home is about providing our students with the informal spaces they need to connect, to study, to meet, and to interact with staff in ways that foster community-building. This project champions the need for close relationships and aims to create welcoming and informal spaces where students can better forge the connections that make up our Jewish community. Five years ago, we built a state-of-the-art center for Jewish student life on Grounds. Today, we aim to complete this project by restoring Hillel’s historic home, built in 1914, and rejuvenating it to reflect the current needs of our students. With an eye toward its historical significance and with reverence for the charm and memories within its walls, we aim to make this House a home for our students for years to come. Join us. |
