The Brody Jewish Center, Hillel at UVA, relies nearly exclusively on donations from individuals and funding from our community partners and grants. With an annual budget of more than half a million dollars, each contribution goes a long way in supporting Jewish students, their ideas, and their futures.

Planned Gifts
The Brody Jewish Center is a part of an exciting nationwide legacy initiative to support the long-term sustainability of critical Jewish community organizations. Through your will or bequest, you can ensure the future of Hillel at UVA. Read more on our Jefferson Society. 

Gifts of Stock or Mutual Funds
Donating securities is an easy and cost-effective way to support the Brody Jewish Center while receiving potential tax benefits. Gifts of stock can be made directly to the Brody Jewish Center or through UVa, depending on your preference.

Capital Campaign and Endowment
As we wrap up our Capital Campaign, there are still a few funding opportunities remaining. We are also in the beginning stages of planning an endowment campaign to ensure positions and building needs are funded for the future.

Donor FAQ

Can my gift count toward University giving? 
​Yes! All donations made to the Brody Jewish Center can be counted as gifts toward the University of Virginia if indicated. Click here to make your gift through the UVA Fund. Read about giving societies and possible benefits to making your gift through the University here. 

Can I send a check?
Yes! Checks should be made out to 'The Brody Jewish Center' and mailed to "The Brody Jewish Center, Attn: Development Team, 1824 University Circle, Charlottesville, Va 22903"
