The Thirteenth Annual Commonwealth Kiddush Cup:
December 1 - December 7 at 8 p.m.

Picture
After THREE years of CWKC domination, young alumni from the Brody Jewish Center will work together to give back to the BJC while competing to beat Hillel at Virginia Tech for the fourth time in a row in the upcoming 13th annual Commonwealth Kiddush Cup. The Cup takes its inspiration from the annual Commonwealth Cup, with teams vying for 17 points (more about this below).

Last year young alum and families helped raise more than $120,000 for Hillel at UVA. It was a very special year, and we hope we can build on its success and beat Virginia Tech once again! One potion of the competition this year that all alumni can contribute to is photos from your b'nai mitzvah, in honor of our 13th year of the CWKC. Be sure to share a b'nai mitzvah memory to help us win a point for the Cup!

The Rules:
  • Anyone can support the Commonwealth Kiddush Cup - but certain affiliations with UVA or VT Hillel count for extra points! Be sure to denote which groups you belong to when you make your gift.
  • Are you both a first-time donor and an undergraduate student? Good news - your donation counts toward winning a point in both categories!
  • An Alumni Gathering is your space to feel the Hillel community wherever you're currently living! Any in-person or virtual gathering of at least 4 UVA Hillel young alumni counts as a satellite event. Submit a screenshot for proof to help your team win the points. Click here to submit your event!
