The Brody Jewish Center is an active member of the University community, the Charlottesville Jewish community, and the wider Charlottesville community. 

Our student leaders work hard to give Jewish students a voice on Grounds and in the larger community. Our interns and advisory team seeks out co-sponsorships with other groups at UVA to build richer programming. Consistently co-sponsoring programs with other student groups on Grounds.

Students from the Brody Jewish Center also use their skills to teach at the local synagogue's religious school and community members often attend Brody Jewish Center programs.

The Brody Jewish Center is proud to be an integral member of the community, and we are grateful for the support of the local Jewish community.  In addition, the Brody Jewish Center receives considerable support from Jewish communities around the state of Virginia, parents, alumni, and friends.
